Don’t risk dangerous explosions of your stock cast iron flywheel when increasing rev range by removal of governors on your Honda clone engine. Get one of our Budget Genuine Honda alloy flywheels and comply with all race regulations.
If you are going to be revving your engine beyond 6500rpm we recommend our stage 1 or better flywheels which have been tested to high RPM and have the associated approval information.
This model uses standard timing. If you need want to increase timing you can also purchase an offset key to offer +8 degrees advance. See the RELATED ITEMS section below.

Weight – 1440gm
This flywheel can be used with the standard coil and a gap of .038-.040″ should be set. The fin design allows this flywheel to move a very high volume or air. It is recommended that you leave only 1 of the blower housing recoil air intakes open. If more cooling is desired then the tape can be removed. The engine will perform best when you have the right amount of cooling to keep the engine from reaching an excessive temperature.
