Seat 1 Piece *FIT KIT not included – Ideal Seat Fitting Kit (Contains: 6x M8x45 Countersunk Bolts, 6x M8 large diameter Washers, 1xM8 washer, 6x M8 Nyloc nuts, 6x Countersunk Seat Washers, 6x Reinforcement Plates, 6x Nylon Spacer washers) – this can be bought as the Complete Seat Install Kit.
a. Place the seat in the desired position and prop up with something.
b. Mark all 6 mounting locations (two at the bottom front of seat for the chassis rail brackets, two mid-way up the side of the seat for the seat uprights, and 2 high on the rear of the seat where the seat stays attach) with a permanent marker, paint on a toothpick, or some other long thin marking tool.
c. Remove the seat and drill holes in locations.
d. Re-fit the seat using the M8x45 Bolts.
e. Push each bolt from the inside of the seat, through an M8 Countersunk Seat Washer, then through the seat, then through an M8 Seat Reinforcement Plate, then through a nylon seat spacer washer, then through an M8 large diameter washer, then secure using an M8 nyloc nut.
f. Repeat for all positions.
g. If a CPR sprocket guard is fitted, ensure the sprocket guard is threaded onto the bolt after the large diameter bolt. Use the M8 washer and the nyloc to secure the sprocket guard and seat.
